finally i can write my long awaited post for the mixtapeshow. dex told me to only write something when it’s about something “good”. (what’s good, dex?)

well here it is!

my original tweet southern hummingbird cd got stuck in this cute baby blue dvd player i got from my old TV job.

i was scared to open (and break) the thing and also too lazy to take it to a pro to fix it. after that i had to do without tweet.
then after a few years i downloaded the album. now i’m back re-listening that album.

but what do you do after you’ve replayed that old tweet album over and over again? wait for her new album love tweet to come out? how long will that take?

the dresden soul symphony combines classical music with soul music. new skool soul singers singing tracks by al green, gladys knight, james brown, marvin gaye, the jackson 5, the o’jays, stevie wonder and many more. conducted by jun markl and led by the orchestra of the mitteldeutscher rundfunk; four backing vocalists; the mdr children’s choir and four instrumentalists.

besides tweet they asked dwele, joy denalane and bilal to sing. good lord. (i’m not even religious so in real life i don’t really say that). they happen to all be favorites of mine.

i think i went to all bilal shows in holland. that’s like 7 times or more. no new album coming out? i didn’t care. every show has been entertaining to me. at his last show he introduced joy denalane and she impressed me. i wasn’t familiar with german artists, but i liked her style.

then there’s dwele with his soothing voice. men respect him for his musical abilities, women want to be serenaded by him. i listen to his music caus it takes me somewhere.

* the southern hummingbird cd is still stuck in the dvd player after 4 yrs.
* tweet looks great with the short crop.
* we need more of this out of the box thinking. anything is possible.

oh mccain,
why don’t you spend more time explaining what you would do as a president, instead of attacking obama and lose your integrity at the same time?
why did you hire bush operatives (who took you down in 2000) to run your campaign in a backdrop of economic crisis? while you should’ve “separated yourself from a president whose approval ratings are now below what Nixon’s were at the height of Watergate.” (lol)

“Mr. McCain is trying to keep the White House in Republican hands at a time when President Bush’s job approval rating is at 24 percent, hovering near its historic low.” (they are trying to be serious, but that just sounds funny to me)

it’s over: obama wins :
Perpetually fretting Democrats will not want to accept it. The campaigns themselves can’t afford to believe it. Many journalists know it but can’t say it. And there will certainly be some twists and turns along the way. But take it to a well capitalized bank: Bill Ayers isn’t going to save John McCain. The race is over.
