Ofcourse my granny ass turned down the invite, stayed home and went to bed at 8pm. Deluge bumped into Jennifer and they took this pic for me. Holla!!

i was in amsterdam (hi murth…) to pick up some make-up at backstage (a professional make-up store) for a photoshoot. on my way back i saw some things that caught my eye.

i was walking past hotel citadel and… omg… i saw this painting of a cover of vogue with kate moss.. at first i thought it was a blown up picture, but a closer look made me see it’s a painting. how hot is that?! i want one for myself now. the artists name reads van der pol.
there were 2 of marlon brando too. so hot! (look at the frame!)

black soil night out
a while ago we went to the (last?) blacksoil festival in rotterdam at club watt to see the documentary ’stars in his eyes’ about new york party promotor damon peruzzi/damon gabriel made by my friend bibi. it was good.
you need that dyson airblade.
they renovated the old nighttown well. club watt is spacious and visually appetizing. i like it. plus it’s ‘green’. and you know that’s the new hip. (puke). but seriously ‘green’ = good.

we were actually ready to leave, but decided to make a stop at the attached cafe. look who we bumped into! dre, jeroen, marly, greg having a discussion with dj’s rich medina and spinna.
dre and jeroen just came back from their stay in rio, brazil. they worked on this cool project called favela painting. it’s amazing what they did and you should go to their site and take a look.

and ofcourse jen and i ended our evening at warung mini with our favourites: saoto soup, baka bana with peanutsauce and dawet (the pink drink). looks bad, but tastes great.

finally i can write my long awaited post for the mixtapeshow. dex told me to only write something when it’s about something “good”. (what’s good, dex?)

bandcamp. a new way to promote yourself. it’s free. the best parts: a clean looking site, no ads, you can upload almost any file and create any format for any player, statistics and you can sell your mp3’s as easy as A,B,C or 1,2,3.
